Join us in the Community building for a special event:
The Wizard of Oz was first brought to the stage by Martin and Margi Stevens in 1966, capturing the wonder of both the classic book and the beloved film.
In the spring of 2012, the production was given a spectacular renewal by Stevens Puppets’ multi-talented resident artist, Zan Raynor. The brand-new scenery was faithfully and carefully recreated, alongside fresh paint, beautifully redesigned costumes for the marionettes, an updated digital soundtrack, and an array of stunning new props. This loving restoration brought fresh vitality to the timeless story and ensured its continued place as our most popular show.
The magic deepened once more in 2017, when all-new music was added, enriching the performance and drawing audiences back into the Land of Oz with even greater wonder.
