Hi I'm Aaron Acosta - A professional Magician, I'm a multi-award winning Magician from Arkansas and Memphis. I specialize in children and family entertainment. I fell in love with magic when I was 8 years old with a book out of the library.

Since then I have been learning and sharing my passion with everyone.I perform hundreds of shows for children every year at birthday parties, Preschools, Daycares, Libraries, Schools, Fairs & Festivals, and all types of family events.

Magic is my passion and obsession and I am thrilled that my job allows me to share this joy with children of all ages, leaving them with laughter and enjoyment at every show.

The Trike Theatre

A Dog’s Job-Interactive: show. Geared for kids k-2.

Bob the dog has a problem. His best friend, Phoenix, is about to go off to kindergarten, leaving Bob home alone. What will he do with all of his extra time? In "Dog's Job" -- Trike Theatre's new Theatre for Young Audiences show -- Bob has an audience full of kids, ages toddler to 6, to help him figure out the answer to that question.

Summer 2023 Kids' Art Contest

Summer 2023 Kids’ Art Contest Rules

1.       The Lincoln Public Library’s Summer 2023 Kids’ Art Contest is open to children ages 6-14 who are currently enrolled or registered as homeschooling in the Lincoln Consolidated School District. 

2.      Each contestant may submit one entry only.

3.      Each entry must be submitted to the library by June 30th to be entered to win a prize.

4.      The theme for our contest is a character or scene from the contestant’s favorite book.  Submissions that do not meet that criteria will not be eligible for the prizes.

5.      The following materials are acceptable for creating artwork: paper, paints, glue, hot glue, fabric, pom poms, pipe cleaners, newspapers and magazines for collage, cardstock, glitter, pencil, charcoal, leaves, pressed flowers, sticks, yarn. 

6.      All work must be no larger than a standard 8.5x11” piece of paper and must be mounted on cardstock or cardboard so they can be displayed.

7.      Winners will be for two age groups, ages 6-10 and 11-14.

8.      1st prize for each age category is $100, 2nd prize is $50, 3rd prize is $25. All winners will be announced on June 3rd and artwork will be available for pickup after that date.
